Alexandros Maglaras

Alex Maglaras joined the company in 2013 as management advisor responsible for investments and business development. His expertise lies in equities, derivatives and fixed income and is based in his deep knowledge of the local market and experience in initiating investment/risk management solutions and strategies. Today he holds the position of Chief Investments Officer, oversees all investment products of the company and acts as a portfolio manager for Greek equity strategies. Before joining the company Alex held positions for the past 20 years with Piraeus Bank, P&K Securities and NBG Securities. He holds an MBA from ALBA and is accredited by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. Alex as part of his professional enrichment, attended on 2004, an executive education program in Pension Funds and Investment Management at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
